Dr. Mussio is a business historian based in Toronto, Canada specializing in the history of financial institutions, reputation and communication regulation in the North Atlantic world (19thC to present). Co-founder/director of the Long Run Initiative (LRI) based in Belfast, Northern Ireland and Toronto, Canada. His current projects include a scholarly history of Bank of Montreal, Canada's first bank, to be published by McGill-Queen's University Press in April 2020 in Canada's two official languages. His recent papers include studies on the emergence of the Bank of Canada, as well as an article in Canada's Policy Magazine on big tech and the political economy of monopoly.
